In 'Sauna', the conventions of exhibition installation are inverted: the back of the TV, cables and supporting structure are all on display, whilst the video itself requires visitors to lie down on the floor and enter a small awkward space in order to view a television that points downwards. The audience’s agency is in question as they can interact with and move the work, but then find themselves subject to being ironed by looming images of the artists.
